On September 18 and 19, 2018, CBX attended “Singapore Consensus 2018”, the global blockchain summit. This was the first time Consensus was held in Asia-pacific region. The majority of participants at this summit are blockchain practitioners, including well-known experts in trading and business, as well as project parties, media and exchanges within the blockchain ecosystem.

During the Consensus, CBX conducted face-to-face in-depth discussion with international blockchain practitioners to discuss the development and layout of blockchain finance.
Meng Chan Shu, CEO of CBX, has over 20 years of experience in the traditional financial industry. “CBX is committed to building the world's most professional, authoritative and safe digital currency exchange”, he said. “CBX will expand its business to more countries and regions, abide by local laws and regulations, and focus on using blockchain technology on trading and return to its financial roots. At the same time, our team will focus on building team values, adhering to the legal and compliance business model, and further expanding our international visibility and influence.”

Mr Steve Shi , co-founder of CBX, also had close talks with multiple industry veterans. Mr Shi said he was very bullish on the futures market for digital currencies such as bitcoin, a response to current user demand. The launch of the digital currency futures market changed the landscape of trading, but it will be a gradual process rather than an overnight one.

CBX has received cooperation invitations from dozens of blockchain enterprises around the world, and many blockchain practitioners have come here to express their desire to have in-depth discussions with CBX to explore potential cooperation modes.
It is worth mentioning that in the cooperation and communications with PXN (Peatio eXchange Network), we have deepened our strategic cooperation intention, studied and reached specific and detailed cooperation strategies. They will also provide technical support and customer service. In addition, the cooperation between the two parties will further optimize and improve the existing functions based on the existing API, and optimize the REST API and websocket API into a Financial Information exchange API conforming to the Financial exchange protocol, so as to attract more traditional Financial practitioners to join.

CEO of DRW, a high-frequency trading company in the United States, Mr. Don Wilson and journalist of Quartz John Detrixhe has started the event with 1-on-1 interview. Wilson said that high-frequency trading firms like DRW will pay more attention to mainstream chain development and the construction of infrastructure between practical applications and tokens in blockchain. This will speed up the development to combine the blockchain technology and traditional financial markets. At the same time, he said, the volume of bitcoin derivatives traded in Asian markets is almost the same as in the United States, which has not happened with other financial instruments.
